Make three extractions.
- The first in cold water for 30 minutes.
- The second in very hot water (but not boiling water) for 25 minutes.
- The third in boiling water for 15 minutes.
Each chemical in opium has a different dissolving temperature in water, so by starting with cold water and then moving to hot you are extracting more opium without damaging the weaker components, as compared to using hot water from the start.
You can also heat your tea mixture on high heat (but not boiling) until all of the liquid has evaporated. This allows for the opium extract to be left on the bottom of your cooking device, making for an easier way to consume the opium. Once you've evaporated all of the liquid, a hard yellow/brown substance (the opium) will be left behind; simply scrape this substance off and store for later use. Note that you cannot smoke this opium because of too many other plant materials mixed with it. What you can do with it is put it in pill capsules (to bypass the bitter taste of ingesting opium) or mix with water and reheat at a later date (so you don't have to store the whole tea mixture for the future). What recipes do you have for dried opium pod tea?
Do you use the same amount of water for each extraction? Do you re-use the tea for each extraction or use fresh water each time? Report Abuse
well, you can grind it and put it through a coffee pot, honey and lemon make it taste better, more like the lemon poppyseed muffins you can buy at the store. it's never going to taste great because this is a drink that hopefully f***s you up... grinding and smoking fresh nutmeg (or puting it in a juice) is something you could try as well.
